I *love* Asylum. I'm only a Gundam Wing fanfic fan (having never seen the shows and not likely to be able to do so any time in the future) so I don't know about whether the pilots were in character or not, but this is IMO an incredible original story which just happens to have characters from Gundam Wing in it. I hope you'll be writing more soon, and I'll keep checking back. |

Humm....I could have sworn I signed this... I'm still convinced that Asylum is among the top 5 things EVER written (and that includes ANYTHING). During a recent bount of depresion I re-read Asylum from begining to end in one sitting. (I was up all night, literaly) And now that this strange little tide of depression has returned, I will do the same. What a lot of reading I have ahead of me! heh... Your writting has basicly inspired me to continue writting. I've been writting in English since 3rd grade. (well um duh, I didn't even know english before that) and writting in general since I learned how to. But from 4 grade to like 6th I fell out of it. I just quit. I don't know why. That was the stupidest thing I've ever done. (okay, the pigion headed barbie was dumber). But in mid 6th grade a friend told me about ff.n. I went on and you were one of the first authors I read anything from on ff.n The first fic was enough (heh, heh I can't remember what the first one was...) I woke up and realized that quiting writting was the DUMBEST thing I had ever done (again, except the pigion thing). Odin: CUT IT OUT, Chipmunk. You're boring strangers to death! I actually read that one last week and the scenes my mind makes up for me still haunts me. *shudders* 11:11 is just plain freaky! I'm afraid to go to sleep... Ghosts haunt my house... Great Fiction. I love the way you portrayed Duo in the fic Asylum. Brilliant piece of work! I couldn't quite read part 13 (might be my computer) but nevertheless excellant story. Holy shit, I just read pretty much all of the fics on this site, and...holy shit. :D I absoloutely loved Asylum (hehehe, bet you've heard THAT a lot) and Drums... *shivers* I read it twice, and it gave me the creeps both times. It's the first horror fic I've ever read that left me feeling.. well, horrified. :D Oh, and it's too bad you're not continuing that Star Wars fic, I really liked what I read of it. I'm really sad now. I wanted Asylum to stay up on FF.net. I first read it here and I was totally blown away. That is one awesome fic. Man! I loved it. I can't say anything other than that. I also wanted to tell you that I write a poem for your fic. I was depressed. Depression is bad. I'm really in shock. I also read Porcelin. That is good. You need to finish. I think I know what's going to happen though...And that scares me, because I had Asylum figured out halfway through. Not because it was boring or anything, just because I'm weird. Asylum was THE BEST story I have EVER read!! I was depressed at the time I read it...(WHY I was depressed I can't remember...)NE-ways, I somehow stumbled onto your FF.Net page, and the title 'Asylum' sounded read-Worthy. I started reading at 9:00p.m. and finished at 3:42a.m.(the exact time) I was beyond amazed!!!When I Finally went to bed (which was around 4:30)I could have SWORE that I had seen a shadow-demon!!(of course I didn't though...sadly ;_;) In the after-noon(which is about the time I woke-up...^.~) I told my little sister ALL about the your story!! Um...I probably shoudn't have done that...'coz she was only 6 and just getting over 'The Boogie Man That Lives Under The Bed'. And now she is convinced that 'Dream-Demons' are the cause of nightmares. She is also convinced that she is being 'haunted' by the sprite/ghost of our dead Uncle...;_; so if this keeps up...and my 'sis GOES to an Asylum, I'll e-mail you and tell you what its like when I visit my sis! All of your writing is amazing (plots...holy cow, you have sci-fi,action, and suspense DRIPPING from every piece), and you're definitely one of the best authors I've read in the GW fandom. (Actually, in any fandom.) Sheesh, reading "Asylum" in the dark while listening to early Radiohead was the most fun I've had in months. To tell you the truth, the first fanfic of yours that I have ever read was Nightmare, and it was VERY creepy, but was wonderful. Second fic I read of yours was Drums, which really scared me, and scared me even more when the second chapter explaining everything had came out. Everything I can think about this site and the writings on it can be sumerized by one word: Awesome. Asylum is the only writing I've liked enough to actually comment on. It has enough twistedness, humor, and such to please a dark and somewhat morbid person like me. Keep it up. |
